Abstract

The leading article contains data on the structure and functions of the treatment and prevention institution of communal ownership – the city nephrology center of nephrology and dialysis, regulated by the Order of the Kyiv City State Administration dated 04.12.2018 № 2182 «On approval of the Charter of the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise dialysis”, which provides secondary (specialized) and tertiary (highly specialized) medical care for adults and children.
According to the license Order № 1650 from 19.07.2019 «On licensing of medical practice», KNE «Kyiv City Center of Nephrology and Dialysis» has the right to
conduct business of medical practice in the specialty of organization and management of health care, clinical laboratory diagnostics, clinical biochemistry, pediatric nephrology, nephrology, ultrasound diagnostics, surgery, anesthesiology, pediatric anesthesiology; in the specialty of junior specialists with medical education: nursing, laboratory (clinic). The Center has 298 employees, of whom 59 doctors and 101 junior specialists with medical education provide medical care. The doctors include 1 doctor of medical sciences and 5 candidates of medical sciences. The center provides daily outpatient counseling of Kyiv residents, round-the-clock counseling of patients undergoing treatment in medical institutions subordinated to the Department of Health, hospitalization of nephrological patients in all districts of Kyiv.
